What\u2019s the difference between Racer Cut and Opposable Extreme? Both utilize the patented pedal and wing design (Opp Wing<\/em><\/strong>\u2122)that gives 4 axis control<\/em><\/strong>, (flip, straight\u00a0back impulse, windage,\u00a0 and bore axis rotation. ) The opposable extreme model angles the pedal slightly towards the bore to encourage the proper vector of thumb force, namely towards the bore, not just down like the copycats. \u00a0Automatic windage control is enhanced. The\u00a0pedal, with new 3d machined groves, makes the thumb slide to wing faster. The radius size between pedal and wing has been increased to allow more thumb contact and\u00a0 better proprioception. Cosmetics are slightly different and weight is negligibly reduced by .1 oz. Both work great and its really a matter of personal preference.<\/p>\n

COLORS AND FINISH<\/strong>: Machine Finish has no coating and intended to used as is, or colored with rest of gun when refinished. There is less friction on Pedal surface and encourages thumb to slide over to wing for true opposable grip. Black Anodize is matte finish with a tad more texture for those who want maximum traction.<\/p>\n

Gunsmith Edition is undrilled without holes and has flange on base suitable for Limited Shooters. For Open Shooters that want the Pedal mounted flush, the Gunsmith can easily mill off the flange on base<\/p>\n

Early feed back \u00a0on Gas Pedal\u00ae Opposable Extreme, from top shooters\u00a0 since\u00a0 introduction in November 2017, has been over the top.<\/p>\n

VERY IMPORTANT! Point your thumb 45 degrees towards bore axis not straight down.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This enables the hand to get more opposable grip on off hand fingers. If you do press straight down, and you dont want to change you might feel better with the Racer Cut.<\/a><\/p>\n
